I don’t wait for a campfire to indulge in some s’mores. A quick pop into the toaster oven on broil and you have your own homemade treat in minutes any time of year. I have been making these for years as quick “sweet craving” treat for me and my hubby.
Now I wanted to make my s’mores a bit more decadent so I used Caramilk bar squares to make a scrumptious combination of graham, chocolate, marshamallow and caramel (heavenly!).
For each individual s’more you will need 2 graham crackers, 2 Caramilk bar squares, and 10 mini marshallows.
To assemble, line your toaster oven pan with aluminum foil and place a graham cracker on the pan. Place your chocolate squares on top of the graham, and then arrange 10 mini marshmallows on top. Place the open face s’more into the toaster oven and set to broil to toast the marshallows and melt the chocolate (approx 2-3 minutes). Keep a close eye on the toaster, and once the marshmallows are moderately browned remove immediately. Place your remaining graham cracker on top and enjoy the ooey gooey goodness immediately . . . see the caramel starting to ooze from the s’more in the photo – outrageously good!
